Meet the Principal Designer and Founder

Homes are a love story. One romances one's home for years, decades even, before it comes to life. Some grow up in homes that they inherit and end up living in forever, some build theirs brick by brick — either way — homes are a tribute to a life, to a dream, to a person's most unique and intimate experience.

I fell in love with homes when I was little when I would go on these evening walks with my grandfather every day (I was  lucky enough to be raised by my grandparents). My nana and I would take these long strolls in various neighborhoods and even as a child, I was so fascinated by the “golden hour” when sun's about to set and the lights turn on. And when you walk next to a house on a street, you can see the dinner hour hustle and bustle come to life through the windows, you can see the table being set, the family room filling up with beautiful noise, you can see the art on the walls, the chandelier on the ceiling, the life in the room! I loved it all -- so deeply in fact -- that even after my little legs would be tired on these long walks, I would tell my nana "lets keep walking!" He, of course, would lift me up and walk with me in his arms, my dearest.

Another story that comes to mind is my fascination with doors - I always loved doors and as a child used to think they were "massive chocolate bars"! Especially the ones in Kensington, London, one of my favorite neighborhoods in the world. I believe I have the movie Parent Trap to blame for that, as I hopelessly fell in love with Nancy Meyer’s world as a young person — Annie’s darling home in Kensington sparked many a smiles on my face! And that love of doors continues today — as you may have noticed already — it plays a central role in my branding and logo design.

My love of home, and of design, continued to thrive in me for years but as the time came to choose a career, being the daughter of Indian parents, I ended up choosing science/tech and law. But the love of design prospered within me and I had this strong innate conviction, always, that it was my calling. It took 10 years in the corporate world, most recently at Linkedin, where I worked for 6 years, to hang up my “tech cleats” and launch my own design firm and I have never looked back! I informally designed for 7 years and fell in love with construction and making a space come alive while renovating my gorgeous Tudor home in San Francisco. (I will always be a lover of Tudor arches!). I always knew, deep within, it was only a matter of time!

It is now a great honor and privilege to be able to design timeless homes and pursue my passion and purpose! Our full service interior design firm is centered around the belief that a home is an ode to a person’s life and dreams, and giving our clients a
