Job Description
Atelier Oleana is an innovative interior design company dedicated to creating sophisticated, functional, and personalized spaces for our clients. With a passion for design excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, we are seeking a highly organized Freelance Interior Design Project Manager to join our team and take the lead on project management, sourcing, order estimates, and procurement. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects from conception to completion.

  • 1. Project Management: Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet timelines and budgets effectively.

    2. Sourcing and Procurement: Source materials, furnishings, and decor items that align with the design vision. Handle procurement, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and managing vendor relationships.

    3. Order Estimates: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, factoring in materials, labor, and other expenses. Seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining design quality.

    4. Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and quality control. Manage orders, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain issues.

    5. Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and prepare detailed financial reports. Make adjustments as needed to keep projects within budgetary constraints.

    6. Documentation: Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and design plans.

  • - Proven experience in project management, sourcing, and procurement within the interior design or related industry.

    - Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

    - Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

    - Proficiency in project management software and procurement tools.

    - A solid understanding of interior design concepts and materials.

Job Description
We are seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Junior Interior Designer to contribute to our growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging designer to work with experienced professionals in a boutique setting, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and responsibilities. This role can become full time after the initial contract period.

  • 1. Design Development: Collaborate on the development and refinement of design concepts under the guidance of senior designers.

    2. Space Planning: Assist in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts for residential projects.

    3. Material and Finish Selection: Contribute to the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories in alignment with the overall design vision.

    4. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing support in articulating design ideas and solutions.

    5. Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

    6. Research: Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and emerging design technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.

  • - Experience working in an Interior Design Studio or related work environment

    - Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
