A beautiful example of thoughtful minimalism and warm textures, the Pacific Heights Contemporary project is a deeply personal reimagining of a storied San Francisco home, crafted by Atelier Oleana for a young family with a love for art, materiality, and storytelling. Anu and her team were commissioned to transform the interiors into a layered sanctuary—equal parts refined and emotionally resonant—where every room reflects the evolving lives of the couple and their young son.

The design marries global influences – like the panoramic treescape wallpaper inspired by Flemish tapestries in the primary bedroom – and tactile luxury, as seen and felt through a rich but soothing color palette, a striking resin coffee table, and hints of boucle. Through layered colors, materials, forms and artisanal details, the end result feels both intimate and elevated—an elegant portrait of a family’s inner world, brought to life with intention and soul.
