Sea Cliff Contemporary is home to a young couple who came to Anu wanting a soothing, subdued color palette (an exciting challenge for the designer’s signature vibrant aesthetic). Anu transformed a minimalist brief into a study of subtle sophistication, crafting a nuanced “neutral” sanctuary for the couple and their newborn, weaving rich taupes and green tones into an understated yet deeply textural canvas, and layering the space with finds from 1stDibs and soothing tonal paintings by Gwen Hardie  —proving that neutrals can be anything but neutral.
